so for those without lil snitch:
access host file
on lion: sudo nano /etc/hosts
sleopard: sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts
add the line:
127.0.0.1 www.ecamm.com
save and quit

I tried editing the host file and using little snitch, both times PhoneView went back to demo version.
Any ideas?
